East Africa trip planned for September

Missions trip to East Africa still has spots available
IntoAfrica will lead an expedition to East Africa this September. Spots are still available for this three-month missions trip.
All team members are asked to arrive in Cape Town by Friday, 2 September, so that we can leave on Monday, 5 September. The team will all stay at Africa House – the All Nations Cape Town base in Noordhoek. That weekend will be for team meetings and final preparations. The return date will be around Sunday, 27 November. The team will meet with the All Nations Family/community gathering on Tuesday morning, 29 November. After this, everyone is free to go home.
The team size will be approximately 8-10 people, driving in two 4x4 vehicles in convoy. The team will leave Cape Town, drive through Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Malawi, up into the heart of East Africa.
The idea is that this will be a more relaxed-style trip; so not rushing to get anywhere, but certainly there will be times where it may be more intense. The time frames will differ from place to place to allow room for the Spirit to lead the team as they go.
They will probably spend longer times in East Africa – they will spend some time with our long term people in the islands, and then will have a few teaching and connecting engagements in Kenya and other areas. The idea is to keep it flexible. How long the team will spend in these locations is still being planned with the people on the ground there.
There will be opportunity for ministry in several of the locations. There will be opportunity for exploring and investigating unreached people groups. There will be opportunity for the team to use their gifting and passions as they go along.
The objectives would be:
· To explore unreached people groups/areas
· To engage in/explore ministry opportunities
· To do ministry - To share your story , God’s story and to start DBSes where we can (Discovery Bible Studies)
· To give opportunity for those who are looking long-term to see and explore East Africa
There will also be opportunity to see things like Lake Malawi; the team will drive by Kilimanjaro; and there are some amazing places in Ethiopia and other places to enjoy along the way.
There will definitely be some “team” time before they go – planning, teaching (muslim evangelism etc), sharing and praying together. Leadership will let the team know closer to the time when that will be happening. They will also send out material to read and process beforehand.
The cost is R25,000.00 per person. There is a chance of splitting it up per month, so if people need to pay a monthly amount for each month while we are away, they may be able to do so. (This will also be dependent on what funds the team will need at any given time).
This amount includes: Travel Cost (fuel, vehicles, ferries and any additional transport that may needed), Accommodation (as per team requirements), Food, Border Fees (excluding visa’s at this point).
